To stay in Tarn, Isabelle and Daniel propose 2 gites and bed and breakfast
You have the choice between :
- The House of the Miller, gite for 7 people max
- Fenial, gite for 6 to 10 people max
- Belle Epoque, a room for 2 people(+ 1 baby)
- Côté Sud, a room for 2 or 3 people
Moulin du Barthas is situated in Montredon Labessonnié, in the Mounts of Lacaune, in south east of the Tarn.
There were more 800 mills in 1862 in the Tarn and more 20 in Montredon Labessonnié. The "Mill of Barthas" was one of them, it worked until 1920. Today, all that is left of is a few pieces of mechanism, any beautiful millstone in granite and silex and the reservoir feeded by the brook.
We have a pond undergoing development where we have planted water lily and aquatic plants.
You could rest, listen water's
murmur, birds'song, insects'buzz
In autumn, you'll
go to search mushrooms : edible boletus, chanterelle ...In our farm, we
breed ewes and
lambs in a traditional way. In April and May, you can see lambs's
birth.We breed also rabbits and ducks.
